Dean Larry Kaptain hosted a luncheon with the former President of Honduras Carlos Roberto Flores and his daughter, Ambassador (to the U.N.) Mary Elizabeth Flores Flake. The LSU School of Music has a rich tradition of outstanding students and alumni from Honduras.
