LSU Chancellor's Welcome

The Chancellor’s Welcome is an annual event for the first-year LSU students and their parents. What an exciting evening with the Golden Band from Tigerland, the Golden Girls, the Color Guard, The Tiger Girls and LSU Cheerleaders. The new students learn the LSU songs, cheers and begin their immersion into a very wonderful community—full of traditions and promise. It all took place in the Pete Maravich Athletic Center.

Theatre Boot Camp

The LSU Dept of Theatre held a week-long Boot Camp for incoming theatre undergradutes the week before classes. It culminated with a performance of sketches that was very well attended by the Theatre faculty, staff, and students.
