LSU: a Top-Ten destination for tuba/euphonium study

LSU is tied for 8th place with the Eastman School of Music and Juilliard School in a survey by a University of Arizona graduate student that ranks the top 10 tuba/euphonium studios in the country for graduate studies.   The survey was sent to all the teachers at institutions in the United States where a graduate degree is offered in tuba and/or euphonium.

The tuba/euphonium professor at LSU is Joseph Skillen.

The survey was undertaken by Suke Nakata and is dated 2011.

Congratulations Prof. Skillen.
